The story behind every form we shape.

SmoothVista Clayworks began as a small courtyard studio overlooking the Pacific ridge. Today it continues as a place where clay meets quiet, and people discover their own steady rhythm.

Our mission

We exist to make calm tangible. Every vessel, sculpture, and workshop is an invitation to slow down, feel the weight of clay in your hands, and return home with something you made yourself.

Our values

  • Sustainable materials sourced within 200 miles
  • Inclusive classes for all skill levels and backgrounds
  • Zero-waste studio practices and regenerative clay cycling
  • Community over commerce—shared kilns and open studio nights
